L.E.N.S. photo challenge: our lettered days

This week's photo challenge at "Home Is Where You Start From" has me pulling out a photo from a few months ago.  We were out enjoying the opporutnity to ride our bikes and play on our new driveway when Tim grabbed a handful of pinestraw and proceeded to spell out his name with it.
With snow flurries today, most of me is longing for the warmer days again (or at least enough snow to go sledding)...but everybody needs Winter to appreciate Spring.  It's a good time for some hot chocolate...enjoy the photo challenge!

  1. Love the photo! Very creative!

We have been surprised by the snow and coldness this soon also. This is just telling me that it is going to be a very cold winter!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Oh how creative is that!!! I LOVE IT!!! So awesome he grabbed them and started doing it himself. I love the proud smile he is sportin'. What a beautiful memory of warmer days and growing boys. He is too precious!! Hope you enjoy the snow. None here for us. We are just getting over 6" of rain in less than 24 hours. I am so not ready for winter. lol!!!

Thanks so much for your sweet words of encouragement today! {{{HUGS}}} You said exactly what I needed to hear! You have no idea how much I appreciated that... and you! :)

Happy Monday Janet. God Bless my friend.

  3. very creative! We never get snow here, but the weather has been all over the map this week, on Sunday it was 90 degrees! Today it was in the 60's...crazy!

Never has been, really.

It is about the people who invest in me.
My husband. My boys. My family. My friends.
They all share themselves with me.
When I am not at my best, I'm not giving them a good return for their investment.

If I don't take care of myself first, my ability to care for others effectively diminishes quickly.
My choosing clean eating, drinking enough water, and exercising on a daily basis is how I put on my mask first. Am I perfect at meeting the n…
