don't laugh (dpp [day 31])

Finally. My only photo from December 31st that I took personally. Don't laugh...at least I found one when I uploaded photos from my camera...even if it is of a lamp.  I was playing around with some settings on my new camera while lying in bed.  So what else is there to take a photo of on the last day of the year?

So much for a grand finale for december photo project 2013...at least I accomplished my goal of at least one photo a day for the entire month. That's something. :)

    I think it is fitting! Light represents our Savior Jesus Christ and He is the blight of the World. We are supposed to let our light shine before man. So to end the past and start the future with "the Light"- perfectly appropriate!

home of the Braves

As a metro Atlanta resident, it seems almost a requirement to go to a Braves game to continue living here.  I grew up watching baseball and loving the game...and have been to a few games in St. Louis, Cincinnati, Detroit...and of course, Atlanta.  The problem for me going to a Braves game is purely mental...having been a Mets and Cardinals fan for years, I just haven't the love necessary for the Braves to call me a fan. However, as with many things in life that I haven't particularly enjoyed over the years, my boys make it so worth my time and heart.  I go watch the Braves because I love my boys...and my boys and I love baseball.  Well, they love what they know of the game...still in training, but getting the hang of the lingo and SOP's of a baseball fan rather well.
