accidental bokeh

I was so excited today when I discovered the first daffodil bloom!

Then, tonight, when I downloaded the pictures to my computer I discovered the ever illusive effect I've only ever dreamed of catching in one of my photos...bokeh!

Not eye catching, Wow!, bokeh...but bokeh nonetheless.
This is exciting for a wannabe photographer like me!
It's the little things in life that make me smile, indeed.

  1. The daffodils are beautifully captured! I was out yesterday and ours are but tiny green shoots just starting to make their way up through the ground. Now, after seeing these photos, I am even more anxious for their appearance.

  2. So jealous you have flowers already! And thanks for teaching me a new photography term. Your shots are beautiful and really bring through the ethereal quality of this beautiful but too-soon-fading daffodil.

  3. Daffodils are my absolute favorite!! I'm not sure what bokah is, but I'm going to look it up right now! Huggggs

I need to adhere to the direction given on any flight I've ever been on that goes something like this: make sure your own oxygen mask is properly secured before helping others. If I don't take care of myself first, my ability to care for others effectively diminishes quickly.
My choosing clean eating, drinking enough water, and exercising on a daily basis is how I put on my mask first. Am I perfect at meeting the n…
