30 DoT: {day 2} an animal

Moose...
This may sound crazy, but the first animal that came to mind that I am most thankful for this year is a moose. Not just any moose, but the first one that my NBC family saw while in Alaska.
Trust me when I say that there is nothing sweeter than seeing a moose in the "wild" (even if it is in the city limits) for the very first time.
I have been there myself back in 2008...the first moose sighting is simply something I will never forget.
Each time one is sighted it is just as exciting for me.
Since 2008, I have had the joy of leading other teams on their moose hunts.
God has granted favor and always provided at least one, and usually more, moose for my teams to see and squeal with delight over.
This summer, I caught our second moose sighting on video.  It still makes me laugh out loud.  Enjoy!

My health journey to where I am today began back in 2010. It is amazing that things do not happen accidentally, even if they seem to in the beginning. Actually, as the pieces of my story have come together, this story begins w

My word for 2018.  Anchored. To keep from drifting. Representative of stability and strength. Connected. Held.  Grounded.  Positioned.  Fixed. Movable. Small, yet, essential part of a bigger entity. It is a standard by which to live; a goal for which to strive. Anchored.
