20130505_182126Sunshine!!!
The sun was out from behind the clouds for the first time in forever.
It was short lived, but glorious while it was out and shedding light on my very dreary, soggy surroundings.
So, in addition to the beautiful gift of sunshine, I celebrated with my boys tonight as they received their awards for their hard work in AWANA this year.
I am one proud mama of two boys who both learned over 40 verses each this year...along with completing other activities.
They work hard, study hard, and play hard.
A Sunday of worship, sunshine, NASCAR racing, and applauding my boys...it was a good day!
(We went out for Mexican last night so as to avoid the crowds today.  It tasted the same as it would have today...maybe better...and without the wait.)

My health journey to where I am today began back in 2010. It is amazing that things do not happen accidentally, even if they seem to in the beginning. Actually, as the pieces of my story have come together, this story begins w

anchored

My word for 2018.  Anchored. To keep from drifting. Representative of stability and strength. Connected. Held.  Grounded.  Positioned.  Fixed. Movable. Small, yet, essential part of a bigger entity. It is a standard by which to live; a goal for which to strive. Anchored.
